2m tall columnar herbaceous perennial.  Large oblong velvety leaves and frilly yellow daisy like flowers. Very pretty and stately.  Loves open sites and grows well against my wire fence, tucking itself away.  Maintenaince free, just trim dead stalks in late fall to clean up.  Will rarely self sow because seed is loved by small birds!  Used as a medicinal for lung ailments.

Beautiful summer flowers that brighten up any garden.  Open pollinated blend of single and double flowered plants.  Profuse bloom July to early August.  Monocarpic.  Opium poppies must be one of the oldest species mankind has cultivated.  Once a sacred plant giving comforting pain relief that no other analgesic can offer to become much abused in the wrong hands like many of nature’s gifts.

The entire plant possesses a refreshing minty scent.  Smallish lance shaped somewhat hairy leaves are arranged in whorls along the length of its 1 meter stems.  Dense clusters of white flowers with purple spots appear on the stem tips from late Spring until frost.  Mountain mint is a great nectar plant and its honey is much sought after.  Scent is subtley different from the two other minty plants we grow. Makes a very nice tea.

Delicate looking native lily to 1 meter tall.  Thick wiry stems hold foliage high.  White trumpet flowers hang from stem tips in two's or threes.  Orange-scarlet berries follow.  Makes a nice clump and slowly spreads over time via seed and rhizome. Can tolerate a few hours of direct sun.  A tough herbaceous perennial.  Root ball is very dense and will not let other plants push through easy.  Grows quickly from seed.  Drought tolerant when established.  Deer proof.
